Tras detectar la importancia de la “constelación” de pueblos que forman parte del Alfoz leonés se crea un vaciado del centro urbano que potencia la re-habitación de los paisajes rurales. Cada pueblo, con su identidad y características propias, forma un conjunto articulado a través de una malla subyacente efímera de recorridos físicos, virtuales y relacionales. Materia prima para replantear el futuro crecimiento ciudadano de la ciudad de León. Finalizado con un ejercicio temporal, efímero, de re-habitación de la antigua fábrica azucarera, se reinterpreta la unidad de esta malla rural, sin cuya existencia haría insostenible la ciudad.
Rehabitated Landscapes
After detecting the importance of the “town-constellation” which surround León´s Alfoz the proposal hollow urban core out in order to emphasize the re-occupation the rural landscapes. Each village possess their own identity and characteristics,establish an articulated underlying network composed by ephemeral, physical, virtual and relational paths. Raw material for reframe the future sprawl of the city. Finished through a ephemeral exercise, re-habiting of the old Sugar Factory, performing the unity of the city network.
